EMIM was our first booth, back in 2017. The “eyes” did not have yet their current catchy design. We recorded a video, which was later used at a National hashtag#startup contest, where…we failed.
It took us 3 more years till we saw some interest for our technology, but we were persistent. And a pandemic forced us to understand that our value proposition was not hashtag#lowcost. When there is value, price is not the decision maker. So, it took more than 5 years to realize that our unique contribution in preclinical research is making molecularimaging a daily tool for invivo screening, but not limited to it. Yes, noone can provide real-time images during the scan, image low activity therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and the challenging alpha emitters. Smart engineering led to small footprint and easy operation.
With more than 30 installations, we know that it takes time to educate the drugdiscovery community, but our end users inspire us to keep going on, for the benefit of research. And such conferences allow us to be updated on current trends, as well as understand what is really needed in daily work and how preclinicalimaging is not luxury, but a technology where anyone should have access.
And besides smart engineering, we work on smart acquisition models, to bring our technology in all drugdevelopment labs worldwide.
In the end, this is the mission of BIOEMTECH…
